The Murals

The Murals throughout the Provincetown Inn began in 1966 and finished 6 years later by Don Aikens. They depict life in Provincetown in the earlier part of this century. Many are based on old photographs and post cards. One exceptional mural is in the Inn Pub located behind the bar (you can find a picture of it in the Views around the Inn section) The mural consists of six separate painted layers for a 3-D effect.
